Partnering with Action for the River Kennet (ARK), to create a rainwater garden design that would reduce strain on drainage systems and promote groundwater recharge. The implementation of SureSet resin bound paving and a PourOn gravel drainage channel, were designed to guide water flow, and enhance sustainability.

The SureSet Resin Bound Paving:
Covered 20m² in Ultramarine Blue, the recycled glass paving not only serves a functional purpose but also adds aesthetic value. Symbolising running water with its blue waves, the paving seamlessly integrates with the natural surroundings, reflecting the school's ethos of environmental consciousness

The SureSet PourOn Gravel Drainage Channel:
Spanning 6m² and filled with 10mm Rhine Gold loose gravel, the loose gravel drainage channel, was secured with SureSet’s PourOn Gravel Binder, providing effective drainage while enhancing the school garden's appeal. Its permeable nature allows water to infiltrate the ground, reducing surface runoff and replenishing groundwater reservoirs.
